For a while know, I've needed a new drum. I've seen the bodhrans that others have acquired and felt some measure of envy. So I saved up my pennies and searched and searched. The money I set aside well over a year ago, so it was finding the right drum that's held me back. The major roadblock being that I'd like to hold and play the drum before buying it. Unfortunately, the drums available locally wouldn't be much of a step up from my current drum.

So i finally had enough of waiting and ordered a drum for delivery. This is what I ordered:

Tracking for the shipment shows it arriving in the United States from Ireland (via London) at 9:23pm on May 1. I expect that I'll have it in hand sometime next week.

Edited to add: 8:34am on May 3, "Your item was assigned a delivery route." Whee!
